When COVID-19 sparked global social distancing, PPI created a multinational remote summit for the British Psychological Society (BPS).

The BPS is an established company with a new and younger generation of members. They wanted interesting and innovative professional offerings for their community of 60,000 psychologists between England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales.

 
 

THE CHALLENGE

PPI developed a 3-day digital member experience mixing community interaction with data collection, in partnership with The Social Kinetic design thinking firm.

As well as directing the team agenda and media assets, PPI designed facilitator-guided digital interpretations of BPS membership projects. We also led a team of creative data analysts in processing summit participants’ opinions into actionable change for the BPS. This storytelling experience needed content for every level of engagement - including pre-summit technology support, visual assets, video production, and a detailed production timeline.

THE OUTCOME

The summit blended informed community engagement and practical data collection.

A series of polling, word clouds, thematic labeling, and text summaries spoke to the members’ focused opinions. Final conclusions were documented in a comprehensive written report.
